Posted by Dejitella1
Why aint you guys here? Dont we have guys who love soccer, anyway chelse

Posted by djordje1yu
We can only discuss about those leagues that you mentioned??? Or we can discuss about others??? Every Europian country has its national soccer league.... For example there is Cup of Serbia&Montenegro ....

Posted by Dejitella1
Hey, thats great, i ve always loved kezman, stankovic, so tell me about serbia and montenegro soccer

Posted by djordje1yu
What could I say...??? Well, we are starting to stand on our feet again after all those years of bad football.... We have manadged to qualify for World championship in Germany, we were the best team in our group (even better than Spain) and I hope that we will play good soccer in Germany. We are in a hard group with Argentina, Netherlands and Ivory Coast (but it is not certain that they will participate in championship because of civil war). Our best offensive players are Kezman (Atletico Madrid) and Zigic (Red Star-Crvena Zvezda-Belgrade), best defenssive player is Nemanja Vidic (Now in Manchester United, was in Spartak-Moscow) and the best free kicker is Dejan Stankovic (FC Inter-Milan).....

Well you guys are great now, gradually your team is taking shape, getting exposure, with vicic in man u, and kezzy in spain, ive love kezman since when he was at holland till chelsea in england and now spain and stankovic is a friend and team mate of my compatriot obafemi martins in inter milan. As per ivory coast, they are coming to the world cup for sure men, they defeated us at the african nations cup(nigeria) they have didier drogba(chelsea) and haruna kone, solomon kalou, they play powerful and physical midfield game and are one of africas best in area ball i mean crosses and headed, thats my leak for you about ivory coast. To beat them get your wingers running and bypass their midfield. Invite more people here to discuss football before the world cup, let talk about teams and preparations

England to win the world cup. full stop

Posted by Dejitella1
@Peterkay, i guess you're english, im a supporter of english football so we're in this together, one thing is sure england has great players now than the last 8 years, gerald, lampard, joe cole, terry, beckham, bent, wright phillips, and so on, men you're loaded but they still lack a world class play maker like ronaldinho, okocha, kaka or zidane, someone who could hold the ball and attracts tackles only to free others to attack, but england can get to the finals but im not sure if they can win it, with teams like brazil, italy and portugal in there

Posted by methylated_spirit
Glasgow Rangers versus Villareal tomorrow night, can't wait! its 2-2- from the first leg, but my beloved Rangers will probably find it tough...i just hope that Hamed Namouchi isn't playing, he's a liability - i don't know why the manager stands by him...

Champions league included?? - Barca all the way!!

For World cup - an African country, Italy/Spain!!
No England and I hope no Brazil!!!

Posted by methylated_spirit
Brazil are getting my vote - sheer class, no-one can touch them.

Posted by djordje1yu
I can tell for sure that this World Cup will be won by some outsider team, and I hope it will be Serbia and Montenegro....

Come on Meths, give England a shout

Posted by Pepi
what can we bulgarians say...we did not even qualify...our gold year was 1994
i place my bet for brazil to be the world champions

Posted by Dejitella1
I only hope chelsea could turn the tide against barca, if robben, and joe cole could play at maximum concentration and lampard supplies the needed passes i think we can still go thru. I love chelsea.

Posted by Pallister
And United were lucky to get all three poinst against Wigan last night.....

We have to aim for the second place...hopefully well keep the scousers (Lpool) on third..

And the Norwegian season is just 30 days away, and being from Trondheim I of cource support Rosenborg BK...

Champions league predictions, Barca to knock Chelsea out, Benfica to knock Liverpool out, and the winner of CL 2006 is hopefully Barca...

I'm actually half English but no, i won't be supporting you lot - i'm a Scot!

Seriously though, they've got a very good chance and the best of luck, but i can't see anyone other than Brazil lifting the trophy.

Posted by PeterKay
Agree, United were lucky last night - own goal was funny

and hopefully Barcelona will hammer chelski tonight at the Nou Camp with Lionel Messi shining like a star with Ronaldinho running riot thru the chelski defence. Come on Barca.

Posted by Dejitella1
Hey, what is d bum about mikel obi, has man u signed him or its still war over him between chelsea and man u, what're his qualities, i heart he is took 2nd best in world youth championship, will man u fight for him since hes not willin to play for them. Why do people have chelsea, they are good english team, they could still go thru, man u should just stay second, they have a great attackin side but they concede too much, they should watch their back

Posted by PeterKay
Chelsea have a good team but their manager thinks he knows everything and he thinks he is the best, hope Barcelona teach him a lesson tonight..

Posted by methylated_spirit
To be fair, he certainly is one of the best. I know what you mean though, its not the fact that they are so good that people dislike them, its the arrogance they show.

Posted by PeterKay
True, he is a good manager but his arrogance shows clearly. And after every defeat he finds silly excuses to cover the loss..

btw, well done to Barcelona yesterday.

Posted by methylated_spirit
Unlucky Rangers last night, going out on Goal Difference! Should have beaten Villareal last night, we hammered them in the first half. Still, maybe its shut some critics up, we never did any worse than any English team in the competition...

Posted by JK
I like Mourinho hes different, passionate bout his job and very hardcore no nonsense type a guy!

I'm agree 100% that Ronaldinho is the best player this year and maybe some years later

Posted by methylated_spirit
Him, Maradona, Pele...oh my god that would be just stunning.

Posted by [J]-DiE
Do you guys watch Del Piero this days, he also unstoppable I think

Posted by PeterKay
Ronaldinho is just magic.
visit www.ronaldinho10.com for many videos of him.

Posted by Dejitella1
Trezeguet is hot, ronaldinho is a wizard, anyway chelsea should be proud, they did their best, im really proud of morinho, he is a worthy coach, as per tonight arsenal might go thru, liverpool might not, cos they've got scoring problems, they are not free scoring, over dependence on gerald, i heard they are going to buy yakubu from middlesbrough? They better do, that player is terrific, he scored against the top three, arsenal, man u, and chelsea, and he has 18 goals already, men hes hot

I guys, has you know i´m for Portugal

To the guy that said England´s gonna win the WC, well, you might, if Portugal weren´t there also...we´re gonna kick your ass...again

Here in Portugal i´m supporter of Sporting Lisbon, the best producer of young talents in Portugal, and one of the best in the world...i´m gonna name some:

Futre, Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Simao, Quaresma, Hugo Viana, just to name a few...and right now we have alot of new young players you´re gonna hear about soon: Moutinho, Nani, Fabio Paim, Carlos Martins

Posted by methylated_spirit
I've seen Fabio Paim, outstanding.

Scottish players to watch out for (I know we're rubbish but we're producing talented players again! 5 years and we will rock once more!)

Kris Boyd - striker
Derek Riordan - Striker
Craig Gordon - goalkeeper
Chris Burke - right winger
Stevie Naismith - striker
Andy Webster - Defender
Shaun Maloney - left winger/striker

Posted by Dejitella1
When i said liverpool wont go thru im sure some will laugh me off, but now they are out thanks to micolli and simao, the european champs are lashed 2-0 at home, what a same, they should better buy yakubu of boro to score for them

Posted by PeterKay
Benfica are looking good this time round. Wonder if they can win it?

Posted by mikkyroy
Ah comeon...benfica are a good side no doubt but liverpool woulda had the edge if they had a better attacking side. lately, they've not been known to score too many goals in keenly contested matches. Barca has been fantastic. Ac milan was on fire yesterday. i see a final btw AC and Barca. that would just be a delight to watch.

Posted by methylated_spirit
That would be a great final, yeah

Posted by Dejitella1
No one talk about lyon, they could be the suprise winner of this cham league, 4 the past 2 year unexpected teams has won the champions league, porto, liverpool, and now ........

Posted by methylated_spirit
Paul Le Guen is moving to Rangers - can't wait!

GOOOO BENFICA

I´m supporter of Sport Lisboa e Benfica and it's the biggest football club here in Portugal

So i'm very pleased this year in the Champions League after beating Manchester United and Liverpool.

My congratulations to all Liverpool supporters they are fantastic in Anfield Road

Posted by ares
The biggest portuguese club, not the best In fact, a month ago Sporting went to Benfica´s stadium to show them how to play football (1-3)

But BIG congrats for the great win...it seems english football teams just can´t get enough of being defeated by portuguese teams...in 2 years, we eliminated defeated the English National team from the Euro, Midlesborough and Newcastle from Uefa, and now MU and Liverpool from CL

All Benfica supporters are praying for getting Arsenal righ now

Posted by ambyzown
I'm an Arsenal fan, and realise that lately the club hasn't been playing fantastic football, but talk about pulling surprise wins, and you're talking Arsenal. We sure showed Real Madrid yesterday.

Next season, Arsenal will be the club to beat. Forget Chelsea, forget Man U

Ronaldinho is just magical on the field.

Posted by Pallister
Barca vs AC Milan in the final I hope!

And Barca to win it as well...

Posted by borg_
@Arez i'm sorry friend but you're not right Benfica is the biggest and the BEST team in Portugal just check how many titles we have

Posted by filofax
o.k. chaps last four for champions league will be:semi-final 1-ac milan v inter milan. semi-final 2-barca v lyon.

final will be barcalona v inter milan.

as for world cup i would love england to win,but unless beckham is not playing we won't.my money will be on spain to win world cup.

Posted by Pallister
Spain?

Lots of quality players, but it never comes off for them in Euro or World Cup!!

My bet is Argentina. Lionel Messi will shine.

Posted by PeterKay
England to win the World Cup this time. Rooney to shine all the way through!

Posted by methylated_spirit
If you want to talk about successful clubs what about Glasgow Rangers, we are the most successful club in world football, with 51 league wins, and well over 100 major trophies - First team to be presented a trophy by FIFA for winning 100 major competitions. Okay, not so great in Europe lately, but damn! Come on!
