Tele2-Comviq operator in Sweden have a great service to watch Mobile TV and listen to Mobile Radio !!
And cause K610i is a 3G phone, everything gonna work just great !! For example to watch tv (1 channel) including free streaming coast ONLY 9 Swedish Krona ! its about 0,80 US$/month
And the radio station with unlimited stream through 3G coast only 5 Swedish krona which is 0.45 US$/month !!
Besides you can get other stationes which are not located through the FM antenna ..
So i guess its cool .. i dont miss the FM-Radio which was built-in my previews phone (W810i) .. no use for me so much ..

have been using a se k610i on '3' at work in the last month (i work in a phone store) and i have to say that i am quite impressed with it. ok it lacks a radio, auto focus and a camera cover but the rest of the package is great. the fact that it is the same size as a regular GSM handset is a big plus, to be honst thats the reason that it has been our best selling '3' handset for the last 2 months, outselling the next popular (nokia 6280) by about 4-1.

Do u guys have this 2 (bug?) issues on your K610i?
1. When I use VideoRingtone and recived missed call the phone won't stop vibrate (I took the video with my K610)
2. The Animated wallpaper in standby screen is much slower than the original one (using the "View" in Pictures folder)
My firmware version is R1CB001

Well, if it's a SW fault and it's with a certain time scale (normally 28 days in the UK) the retailer should just exchange it for you. If not, then a visit to a service centre will be a good idea.

but maybe they will fix it for me... well it's a change for me to upgrade my K700 firmware too
so it's not so bad ^_^

are you using a wallpaper that is different from the resolution the image should have for standby? In that case the phone has to scale it and that would slow it down. Furthermore it has to add the operator logo, clock and other indicators the the image, which will slow down the animation further.
So yes - my K610 displays animated wallpapers a little slower, than in filemanager. If I choose one that doesn't fit the wallpaper size, then it is quite a bit slower.

I would like to agree with Kimi.. maybe the animations you have came from your k700i.. speaking of bugs, mine looses the 'click' keysound whenever receiving a call or SMS..and to have the keysound again, I need to 'power cycle' the unit.. do you experience that on yours too?

u get a click, if your ringtone is set to increasing ring, turn it off and u get the "real message alert"

I tried it.. still no click sound on my keys.. even when set on tones.. needs to power cycle again before getting the click sound and after receiving a call or SMS, again the click is gone..

Yes. just the keypad click... either selected on click or tone sound, it's loosing whenever I receive a call or an SMS message..

That may be a bug too... I still have my shortcuts even when turning the fone off/on.. can you also try having a click/tone sound on your keypad and check if it will be lost after receiving a call or SMS message?

yah.. sometimes when I listen to music with my headset, the voice control will automatically turn on, therefore, you'll hear a 'beep' on your headset waiting for the voice command, and of course, it'll just say no match found.. so, what did I do... I just turned off the vioice control function.. =( how odd...

No, mine is just off too.. Only the light on top of the fone turns solid red when charging while the fone is off.

I just flashed my K610i to R1ED001 from Wotanserver and I just can say it got faster in menus,sound quality enhanced-better stereo widening.Furthermore I noticed a few corrective minor details:1)when a file is sent with BT it doesnt display anymore "Sending with Infrared..." but now it says "Sending to....",2)when creating a shortcut for the shortcuts menu the big background arrow changed to a Windows shortcut-like arrow,3)Camera version is now 3.0 from 2.8-pictures got better-less noise,videorec also better-smoother,4)In the browser homepage displaying Google,accessories,settings....and MyNavi-haven't tried it yet.5)Generally better menuspeeds and its really worth it.
