LOL, was it merely a promotional item in that case? Any thing different in terms of presentation box etc? They hav an Azzure blue coming out also.

Posted by Raja
Packaging was all standard, nothing different to the other colours. It may have been promotional, but as long as mine is different, I don't mind.

Posted by JiggyJaggy
LOL fair enough! How much did you pay if you dont mind me asking, you can always PM me of you like! Im still on the hunt for a red one.

Posted by JiggyJaggy
PM for you Raja. Does anyone know of any available at the moment other than on Ebay? I would like to get hold of one.

Posted by Xugaa
I do like some of them, though not all of them meet my taste.

New Ferrari Vertu has been launched in Italy today, pics below:

Posted by mustu
well I love my vertu and would not want o sell it

Posted by JiggyJaggy
Which one do you have? I just sold mine on Ebay to get hold of a constellation. Just to try it, wont keep it though.

Posted by mustu
I have the one in acsent in black leather.

I like the classic look and also black is my fav color.

The I dont like the new model it does not have a solid feel and jewel keys.

Posted by JiggyJaggy
The older ones with the coloured stitching but black leather are the nicest. In reference to your other question, the only apps I have are the currency convertor and the standard ones. What were you looking for?

Posted by mustu
hi just any genral kind which would work on the phone

ar'nt java apps suppose to work.

Posted by JiggyJaggy
They should do by default.

Has anyone noticed the new limited editions on the Vertu website? http://www.vertu.com/homepage.jsp

Posted by OSB
I have a Vertu, limited edition one of only two made in the world (with the laser etching stating this), ascent in yellow leather. Any one know of anyone who may be interested in it?

Posted by batesie
might be worth building up some reputation on the forum then post something in the Market section. also if someones going to be forking out a lot of money they would probably want to meet in person first. Where abouts are you based?

Posted by OSB
Thanks for the reply. I'm London based.

OK, so this is an ugly featureless brick that I can launch into space?
And it will cost me just 6000 pounds?
Right...

PS. Look at that miniature screen and those horrible graphics! I mean, EW-eth!

Millionaires have better stuff to do than rave about cellphones so these are perfect for them.

The new Vertu S Signiture range is now available. Very slick!

Posted by Merc_Man
It is indeed, played with one at Selfridges.

Felt incredibly well built. Beautiful ringtones.

They had the Gold one as well, but I preferred the normal one.

Bargain at £6500!!

Check this one out.

Very nice! Would have prefered it with the black ceramic keypad.

Posted by JiggyJaggy
Very nice, bit over the top in the looks side of things IMO. There is a limited edition pink and blue Ti and a beige one which I should get my mits on later this week.

Posted by Raja
@JiggyJaggy
Can you post pictures when you get your handsets. Looking forward to seeing them.

Posted by JiggyJaggy
I will do indeed. Here are a few I have collected lately.

Posted by Raja
I have the same Orange Ascent that you posted (limited edition with different shade of orange and stitching to regular).
I would love to buy a Signature S. Just need to find one at the right price.

Whats special/limited edition about this Signature?

Posted by JiggyJaggy
It has yellow (gold) tipped keys.

Posted by JiggyJaggy
Just to give you an idea of how strong these bad boys are, I droppen my Tan ascent out of a 1st floor window from an apartment onto some concrete....and the result was basically some wear and tear to the leather...still works a treat! Awesome!

Id have been upset dropping a phone worth so much.... especially in Britains current climate

Posted by JiggyJaggy
Hi do you mean the economic climate or the weather climate! lol. It is a tough little bugger of a phone.

Posted by JiggyJaggy
Just picked up an Ascent Indianapolis, love the carbon fibre effect on the back. really looking for a white Ascent now in case anyone has one for sale.

Posted by JiggyJaggy
Vertu have announced two new handsets, namely the Cpnatellation Pure range which are ceramic. Very slick! Limited to 2500 pieces

Vertu Pure Constellation

Posted by NightBlade
As good as their build is, they look incredibly cheap (at least on the design side) and outdated, IMO.

I've never been a fan of the constellation series, they just look too basic, my next Vertu will be a Signature S line, I think they look awesome.

Posted by The Matador
nice vertu JiggyJaggy

where you got this from ?

Posted by JiggyJaggy
I have a few of these Various handsets, a side collection really. The Constellations are my favourite as they are quite subtle.

Posted by The Matador
anything for sale ?

Posted by JiggyJaggy
Feel free to click on the link in my dignature which has our Vertu sales.

Ugly buggers!

Posted by JiggyJaggy
Very productive post that was

I have a limited edition Tan Leather Ti coming in later today. Will be selling if anyone is interested. Still think the Ti is the best handset out of all the range.

New Ti "Neon" is out. Awesome colours!

Was wondering what happened to the Vertu brand after Nokia sold it, glad to see its alive and well, and are now building what has to be the most expensive Android phone. I've promised myself that I will own one of these at some point, I've always had a thing for their sheer opulence and just how rare they are. To me when people talk about real premium build quality? This is the only type I think of, true quality materials and craftsmanship, everything else is just so-so.

Wonder if we still have any Vertu owners around here.

Tucked away in my closet... no longer use it but I have owned two of them... Great phones

Beautiful! Is that an Ascent Ti Ferrari Edition? Love the red stitching
BTW, what is that on the left in the box? Is it some sort of key to unlock the battery door?

Yes & Yes, it opens the back so you can get to the battery & sim card. When you turn the key the back of the device pops up like a bonnet/hood.

Very heavy phone, very well built and VERY loud/clear speaker. I have considered getting one of the new Ti's but A) I'm not a big fan of Android and B) I love my 808 pureview way too much. Nice to see they are hanging in there though because their concierge service is BAR NONE the best out there!

Indeed, seems there are plenty of customers to keep them going, that and their new owners have loads of money to keep them afloat.
