Colour wap? - Esato archive

I am trying to make a crap little links page for myself with a colour pic on top, but it wont display- the page loads okay, but the image wont. It is just a little tiny .gif file. I know the Esato wap page and plenty others show colour images, so anyoneknow what I am doing wrong? I tried an online emulator thingy and it appeared in that okay.

have you tried it with another picture? the image file may be corrupted, but so that 'normal' browsers can still read it.

and if your wap-gateway don't support large image-transfer, make sure it's not larger than about 2,7k (officially it's 3k, but I've had problems with some gateways when the size was about 2,8k)...

Well what do you know- tried another image and it was fine. So then I tried saving the original bitmap as a gif again, and it doesn't work!? Odd. Anyway, I stuck with the new, working picture in the end. Thanks!
