Yes possible using Phone connecte via IrDA and your PC

Use the Phonebook and Text Message Manager (PBTM) or Float's mobile agent (FMA). Check the software forum for the discussion threads dedicated to these programs.

I used to have a nokia 6150 - u could send sms via orda to a printer - but i never worked out how - would make sense to send them via irda.
