Just out of intrest what web browser do you all use?
I've recently been using firefox and find it better the IE. Do any of you find any other browsers better than IE?
Posted by Topscooby
Yes, Safari.
Posted by masseur
I've always used IE but in the last couple of years I've been using the Avant Browser interface that sits ontop of IE.
This gives you tabbed windows, auto refreshing pages and many many other features

Msn exporer for moi because it organizes Hotmail nicely and is integrated into a browser.

Opera on both my laptop and my handheld PCs. Much better browsing experience than IE.

Safari here too!

Can you use that on a pc?
Posted by joebmc
Is Safari for mac only or can i be used on pc?
Posted by Gigs
Firefox here, on the laptop and desktop. Sometimes IE if i'm lazy on the desktop.
Posted by Topscooby
I believe its mac only.
Posted by haynesycop
Yes it is mac only, exclusive to macintosh. Everyone go out and buy a mac.
Wooohooo!

Speaking of non M$ products i'm also using open office (substitute for m$ word) can anyone recommend any other open source software (other than os).

Another vote for Safari here.
Safari is still the only publically released non-beta browser to pass the demanding Acid2 web standards test.
Microsoft has publicly stated that even the upcoming release of Internet Explorer 7 will not pass the test. But that's hardly surprising considering Microsofts usual non-compliance with any kind of standards.

I'm currently using the new Internet Explorer 7, it is very good, takes the best of all of the other browsers out there in true Microsoft fashion! Honestly though, they have done a good job, I'm very impressed!

I use Maxthon and Opera. If my PC was faster, I'd use Firefox as well.
