Perhaps this kinda tech will be incorporated some how with the Nintendo Revolution and help it sell? cos there aint much stuff about it that will (so far).

im sorry guys, but am i missing something? its a little dark on my comp, so maybe i am... but... is this just like a light shining on the ground (a projector) looking like water, then when they walk over it, it looks like they are really walking through water?

yeh basically it is a more advanced kind of projection system.

Reactrix works like this. The system draws Reactrix Media content from Reactrix's computers over a typical high-speed Internet connection which is fed into a high-end projector that projects a layered image on the floor. A network-connected hidden camera is also installed that captures, at 30 frames per second, the infrared spectrum around a person's body as he or she moves (or stands still). Meanwhile, the program determines how images would react to the person's movement and projects responding images instantly -- whether they’re rippling water, scattering fish, or transforming the bridge. The camera is accompanied by near-infrared LED clusters, which invisibly illuminate the screen/floor even in dark rooms such as the Zelda booth. Overall, the technology has no latency, works in most indoor lighting conditions and responds to users’ hand, foot, or body motions.

I do work at the TD waterhouse in orlando often. and when CMT came for a concert they had a few of these. one was full of Skittles (candy) and when u walked through it, they all went crazy, then settled down till the next person walked. and another was you would try to make a basket ball go into the hoop my steping on it and making it "slide out" from under your foot and go in the hoop. all EXACTLY like this.
it was cool, but i had no idea it was new. it wasnt a big deal there or anything.
