@kispra, I know of softwares that can detect connectivity...you cannot make extra settings.All of the settings are in the settings menu.You can also goto the connectivity under settings menu.Maybe there's a problem connecting.Instead using the default stuff,create a personal configuration setting.This may make the internet speed faster.But I don't know of any way to increase and multiply radio waves...

But the actual problem is my area Airtel tower because in my home Airtel signals r low but its working properly both MO and LIVE service but past few weeks there is new IDEA tower is stablished near my home and because of this IDEA tower My Airtel Signal comes very low and its creates problem to connect to the internet also my Airtel LIVE service is also not open properly.....
Please all members any solutions for that problem.......

you can use celltrack to know about signal strength..

Well practically you can not increase signal strength with softwares
..If you know a little about mobile internal structure then you can solder
an extra copper wire to get more signals as i did in my SE k500i.
BUT be sure before taking any step yourself coz its N73 not k500i..
Better consult to any experienced mobile repairing technicion.

Hi all...... from last 2 days i m also having a problem lyk Kispra......!! M unable to use AIRTEL LIVE or NOP in my nokia 6600.... it shows an error lyk GPRS not available but it is working with damn slow speed on SE Mobiles...... and thus m unable to connect it to ma PC......

Thanx Bro but N73 works with s60 v3(OS 9.1) and N72 uses s60 v2....
And i hav checked with your given link that CellTrack works only with s60 v2

Ok..but I'd recommend you see your ordinary signal strength displayed at the homescreen or the standby mode or the startscreen.Then..there's a code which I knew all the time..this will make your phone send out signals which attract the signals of the sim connection you're using.Since esato doesn't support some characters,I'm posting it in words and no's.
Code in words with instructions:
First on the standby mode,type STAR and then a HASH.Both are situated in the left and right of 0 respectively.Then type the no.s 3370 and then put another HASH.Hope this works.It only works in all versions of nokia s60s. u:

Nokia 6085 s40v2 CLDC1.1 MIDP2.0 wap 2.0 protocol edge capable ordinary class..no symbian or anything like that (like my 6020)..and dude... Your screen couldn't be 128x128 if you had a s40v3a..all phones from 6000 to 6099 are of the same profile of dude's phone..

is getting EDGE in my area?? (Haryana) i have not tested on any other
place?? but on my place i have tried Diff. diff. Airtel local no.
Some are new some are old but none of them got edge??
Previouly i was thinking that it was due to new activation of live on my delhi's no.
