Impossible when their account servers are up. Sometimes they might go down. At that time you are not charged. In b/w why you want to download from airtelworld.com when there are thousands of other sites offering contents better than airtel live?

hai, now i have one problem, after activating mms, while connecting it says error 734: the ppp link control protocal was terminated. i ask the cc to deactivate the mms. if it solved?

actually alan there's one reason for that as they r connected to yahoo india mobile n indiatimes servers n these both sites gives the best poly ringtones n phone stuff i downloaded some contents which were chargeable but after downloading that i m very satisfied with their service as the ringtones r just rocking n the intruments used in that is just awesome !
so thats why i was asking for ?
but anyways we must try how to download contents for free from airtelworld.com on cell !
but alan do u know any site frm where i can get nice poly ringtones wether its hindi or english watever !

Same problem here too. Earlier I was able to access the net freeley on both , my pc and my fone, but now when ever I try to connect i get the error:
Access Denied: Check your settings.
I can only open yahoo.com using my phone's browser, but not Opera. Other sites get blocked in all cases.
WHAT DO WE DO NOW.........?? Has the free-time come to an end???

Please follow all the steps. Otherwise it will display "Access Denied" or "No Server Access" errors. 100.1.200.16 is not working here. But 100.1.200.99 works perfectly.

I used 6610i to connect to computer thru infra red..
And i was able to open any site in opera in my just first try...
i used to dial *99***1# instead of *99***2#.
mY speed of connection was 460.8 Kbps.
THis i m also posting thru airtel internet..
but guys tell me how can i open any site on my phone itself as it opens only airtel site...

hey, thats a nice discovery... will try it... i have 2 phones, one with mobile office and other with airtel live... though i use mobile office for wap and internet all the time... will give this a shot... if it works... then goodbye mobile office... thanks to all those who helped in this contribution... for ringtones, goto google.com search for 'latest hindi tones' in wap you will get the best free sites... does anyone know a fullproof way of getting through airtel live on mobile to access all sites... tried the methods here.... tried n tried... adios for now , i will be back ;)

but thts using the default browser...
the moment i eeit it and try and open opera from applications folder on my cell and try and surf it gives me a connection error on opera...
can someone tell me how can i use opera to surf in stead of default browser using these methods

I am really bored seeing these websites only
Another thing, I did not try Spartan's method because I do not
have a cable, IR or bluetooth in my mobile.
(I am even not sure of presence of GPRS modem in my phone)
Check out http://www.wap-gateway.com/ which I found a few days back
The above mentioned site offers u free gateway which I was unable to
use because of my little knowledge of this whole matter.

I am in karnataka and i am enjoying this free internet
. But as spartan said, sometimes it gives error may be because of GPRS connectivity.
Now, I want to know if there is any ip address, which gives free WAP connection to our wap enabled mobiles.
Presently, you have to go for either AirtelOnline or something similar in other providers to get this facility by paying 100 bugs permonth.
I found a website www.wap-gateway.com where they tell u will get free connectivity, but didnt work for me.
Please let the community know if you have any free access...

I hv a Nokia 6021 (s40). I have followed all instructions given. I can connect to the net, but can only browse airtel live not other sites. When I try to open another site on mobile (thru bookmarks) it says "you need to disconnect the previous connection" or something like that as you have mentioned. Also please note that I can't use *99***2#, where as *99***1# and *99# works.

Hello everyone here's how i surf internet on airtel live i have downloaded the settings from 646 by smsing Airtel Live
Here is what u need to do Goto ur internet profiles and edit profile named Airtel Live, Turn on the Security and enter the Username as +91
1) "Server Identity could not be verified Do u want to continue": Press Yes, If it says Access Denied after that exit the browser and reenter the Browser and try again u may be able to load any website once it get connected, i get connected in 3-4 attempts.
2) If it says "Communication Failure Secure Connection Failed" then u dont need to exit the Browser just click on any link k750i users can click on "Search Internet" and Nokia users can goto www.google.com or any site they like but only a wap site. After that it will give u the 1st message follow the instructions written above (in the 1st point).
