wingate helps to increase speed when u have 2 or more phones connected...... setting up wingate with one phone would do nothing..... wingate is used to combine 2 or more connections into one by setting it up in the local host.... so bro no way it'll work with one phone....

frnd im 2 frm tvm. streaming is not there in live , earlier i was using 6600 there i could connect using streaming technique...but now i m using 6233...zolo told ur using 6230....can u get gprs thru live in ur phone? please give me also guidance 2 work this trick on my phone.

Let me tell some recent developments made by Airtel in my area(Village)
8 new towers inside 10km
Call rates have been reduced for village towers(Now you have to pay only 50% charge. i.e. 50ps/min for A'tel-GSM, 1re/min for landline & 1re/min for STD calls. After 10pm- only 25ps/min for Airtel2Airtel).
So now I'm happy that Airtel is showing some interest on Villages.

the os is Vista home Premium dude. It looks nice... and since i am new to vista it takes me a while to figure out things. nevertheless the features are great... For ex, setting up 2 laptops for a quick file transfer via wifi can be done in a flash on vista:) And the speakers (altec lansing) are really clear and loud. And configuring the onboard bluetooth to browse via gprs is extremely easy.
If someone is willing to afford extra 10k (69,000), there is this killer model with 17" widescreen and nvidia geforce GO 7600 (256 MB) . That one will surely rock. Unfortunately that one was way far from my budget...

Yup... I would also suggest you to go for a laptop only. It makes a huge diffrence from a mobile despite the few extra grants u spend on it.

Now wat i do is tat i try simultaneous connection from both pc and phone so i get connected in phone ,after i get connected from phone i disconnect from pc.so can use net on phone.but problem is tat i can use net in phone with help of comp only..for browsing thru computer i have moved on to asianet BB now..

I use firefox for Orkut.. If you want to escape from all the login crap then never logout.. You can always hibernate.. Or you can end the task of firefox from the task manager. So the next time you execute it. It will ask for restoring the session.<\b>

i think streaming method for free gprs is over{not working in kerala}
but didnt tried browser method
now airtel live customers can browse the internet.
but i think only using phone browser.
didnt worked with opera.
they are charging 15 paise dont remember the amount of data for that.

look when we used live earlier we could open certain sites as a.live, rediff, yahoo, mauj etc. and browsing, i mean simple browsing was free. only these sites were accessible other sites or links gave no server access...
.
now that all sites are accessible how do we know, browsing which site is free and browsing which site will be charged...
