M frm Maharashtra and its the state where no method of free gprs works(correct me if i'm wrong).
Neither changing 99 to 211(i think thats a trick too) nor changing apn to airtelmms.com(thats expired i think).

If you have to go for airtel postpaid then go for plan 100 because of low rent and rest you can spend on MO. It also has moderate call rates.

and 25p/10kB (thats Rs.25/MB...are they crazy or what!!??)
and
Rs.400/mth-unltd!!
(thats also too much)
and the thing is that all these plans are only for post-paid!!
so i don't count in!!
i am satisfied wit "free-gprs"
and hey i knew INDIA would lose

oh friends! i did a great mistake.in the mornin today gprs(both live nop) was not workin.n i eager to check yesterday's match result(f**kin losers indian team) i thought to sms "PLIVE ACTV" to 222.it always helped wen gprs didnt worked.but due to mine absent mindedness i sent "AO ACTV".n wen i saw msg i got to me that i had sent the msg for activation of gTEL online(which was workin free for me).in the msg it was writen that AO wil be activated iin 24hrs n Rs99 wil be deducted per month.then i seein wat i hav done quickly send AO CNCL to 222. but till now AO til now has not been deactivated nor 99rs has been deducted.but i m afraid that it will happen. is there any help u all can provide

hey fun2sh dont worry yaar. nop wont deactivate. That 99 rs per month plan is not working as i have requested many times in the past but it didnt work. And for one of my trick i had sent sms for the cancellation of nop to 222 more than 10 times but stiil i am gettin free nop. So dont worry.

@fun2sh yes i was tellin exactly that. And they have not changed anything. Its still 5 rs per day. I think the 99 rs per month plan is not for prepaid customers. Its for postpaid customers. They only send the msg that it will be activated but it will not be activated. So dont you worry. I am from manipal karnataka.
