Just found out that there is a new @irtel postpaid plan in which you have 600mins of calls to any mobile free. The monthly rental is Rs. 349/-. You get 200sms/month free. I think this can be increased with top ups for extra rentals..

Today I got a call from @irtel, She gave information, If you call 121 more than 30 times in a month then ur number will be barred. When asked her the reason, she said only 1 complaint/query per day/Number. I said, but @irtel require numerous follow up's for solution to customer problems & what abt 31 days month???? and very often, when we call to 121, during conversation & hold process many times the call drops then wat do to???she was speachless...
This is very very bad step taken by Airtel, Customer care is to support & help customers, so there shudn't be any limitation on calls to 121.
It's only me or others too got similar call from airtel?? I call 121 many times in a month. Mostly for MO billing & service problems.. Till date I had fired more than 5 @irtel TL's.. My experience says, only If u follow up with the TL's for more than 10 calls then only they will give refund, when ther is a problem with MO service.
Believe me, i didnt call 121 not even a single time this month, & I got this call from @irtel, I think they r missing me.... Hahahaha....

Like Tariff, sms, MO, @irtelLive, MMS, daily rent, any other charges & most important all available recharge options.. & also is there any Add-on recharge card like, to make local or STD calls cheaper or any other offer???

hi friends got a reply from airtel. When asked about edge they said that they where concentrating on an advanced network upgrade. They said they are in the licensing phase of 3g UMTS network and will probably launch it at Q1 of next year. What suprised me was that they where looking forward to cover upto 80% of their network!! Which is very good news for we people living in the suburbs. They said that they have already engaged into a contract with telecom equipment provider giant "Ericsson" for about 2billion us$. Well this concludes that they won't upgrade to edge but jump directly to 3g. I hope they will introduce an unlimited plan just like the mobile office. Otherwise no one would opt for it especially in india. BTW guys what is this "HOTBIRD" ????? Is it a satellite what is its use to us???

Looks like the only people in india who can tune into hotbird 7a are from gujarat, rajasthan, J&K

MO is really rockin these days... I am getting 22-30KBps Download speed. I have tried DAP, IDM, Fl@shget and without doubts IDM is the fastest. DAP and Fl@shget struggles to reach 20KBps and above, but still good.
And one more thing torrents works like a charm with fl@shget. Now dl @ 15KBps+.

HBird can be received in TamilNadu using a 16FT dsh. Infact, I have 2 friends from Chennai who are receiving it. But if you have 12FT fibre dsh, you can surely receive it. I don't have that kind of dsh. In Punjab & Kashmir, it can be received using 6FT dsh.

I heard that gtel generates about 70 % of its operating profit from sms, hellotune and content downloads through Rs. 6 per minute calls and the like. He also correctly points out that "ANDHON MAIN KAANA RAJA" Airtel is so ... that it has not even started airtel live in this part of india (Srinagar). They cite petty reasons as lack of infrastructure and security. When gsnl has fullfledged GPRS from 2004 what the hell is wrong with gtel.
