ive never tried to configure emule... i use kazaa lite and there r 2 ways
first method
download http-tunnel client u get it here http://www.http-tunnel.com/httptunnel_setup.exe
This software converts all socks requests going from your computer into HTTP- requests ..
Install the software and configure it to use a specified proxy i.e 100.1.200.99:8080
Now, run HTTP-Tunnel
Configure Kazaa to use SocksProxy with IP: 127.0.0.1 Port:1080
wait 4 a min and it'll start working
second method is to download a proxy client like "your freedom"... u will need this so that ur p2p app can get pass through firewalls and proxies...
next step is to configure the client
1.after installing the client click the configuration box now under the server connections tab type
address:ems12.your-freedom.de
port:443
protocol:https
check "automatically connect on start up","redirect socks4/5 dns to freedom server" ,"enable encryption","enable rekeying"
2.under account info tab just type in ur registered username and password u made when u registered with your freedom at the time of download
3.under the proxy settings
proxy sddress:100.1.200.99
proxy port:8080
leave every thin else
now click save and exit
4.now goto the ports tab check mark both socks4/5 and web proxy
done with the configuration on the client
now goto status click start connection
now check in the messages tab if everthing is ok it says
server version:20060113-01
auth_ok:authentication accepted
startng ports
now goto the applications tab and check kazaa click ok now u have completed the configuration in the client
now open kazaa go to options check socks5 and type "127.0.0.1" and port "1080"
finish now connect u r ready to go
i use the first method its easier but only disadv is u can use the client with only one application at a time... with the second method u can use multiple apps at the same time.
and guys if there is any other method u r using to work ur p2p or bit torrent using this trick please post it here....

guyz there is another method i'll post it here this method is abt portforwarding i am gonna try it now but i am sure if we all work together we can make this done and any apps will work flawlessly all we need is some ip info so do u guyz wanna try it....

port forwarding works for pop3 mail servers but havent figured out how to use it for p2p apps yet....
i think the problem with p2p apps on my comp is that i cant see incoming packets...when it tries to connect to any server the connections just time-out...

u have to setup http-tunnel or your-freedom as specified on the previous page...then use that server by giving proxy as localhost:1080 in freecap.....

@aragorn u sure u created 2 gtel live accounts.now check weather u have changed the real1 player connection settings to gtellive2? If the above said r correct & still doesnt work then read on I am having trouble in using opera mini it stays in the "processing...." window i use opera8.6 instead i am having no probs with it.. But ne way if that doesnt work follow these steps. You need opera browser 4 this 2 work not opera mini... 1)first open phone browser go2 gtel live site G blinks & connects(remember connect to gtel live1) 2)minimise it open opera browser goto any site connect 2 gtellive2 now when u see G connected 4 the 2nd time press stop 3)exit opera now open ne app & connect to gtellive1 it should work.. Good luck

I said so many times.... Don't use streaming method in Nokias. Just use the method of 6600. That's all!

Hey why is it so am getting so low speeds.. Despite of the fact that am the only person from my state.... And ties are so many people from south.. Still you lucky guys get so good speeds...

this dont work on 3220 as it has single channel supporting gprs.

i must thank for evryone contributed to this thread.
i got into one problem. i am using nok 6630 realplayer streaming is working fine for me. but not this time
i got the error message "504 gateway time-out- the web server is not responding". as another method i am using opera8.6 even switching between actual browser and opera gives the same result. even live.airtelworld.com is giving the same response when i do this trick. if i close all connections and open airtellive its working properly.. i am staying in pune. is anyone experiencing the same???

i forgot to mention.. when i am not using any trick gtel live site is pretty fast i can watch streaming video too. but soon i use the trick .. the stellive site is also not working as the others too (time out error)

If any of u face problems viewing streaming videos on pc using this trick on realplayer etc, set the RTSP protocol proxy in real player to 100.1.200.99 and port 80 (not 8080) . IT WORKS THAT WAY!! It is Strange that port 80 allows access to RTSP content alone!!!!!!! To test this, set up ur streaming settings on your mobile to use proxy 100.1.200.99 and port to 80 and you can still watch live TV!!!! ( cnbc, aajtak)
