I've got a 2Gb Sony Memory stick pro duo, it works in a W800i and on the PC but it won't work in my K750i (firmware R1N035) or any of my friends K750i's. The K750s can't see it and the format option says no card inserted.... Help???

So simple! It works, Many thanks. I thought it would be hot swapable just like in the W800i.
BTW Sony Ericsson's advice was to send it to them freepost in a jiffy bag and wait 10 days. Orange said we'll get a technical guy to call you, no call yet. Perhaps when he rings I'll give him the benefit of your advice.

Yeah, far too simple. Neither I, the Tech support at SE and half a dozen electronics engineers went for that one. But hey, don't worry, you'll get over it.

It won't work for me. In fact, my phone won't even fully turn on with my 2gb memory stick inside it; it just seems to freeze as the startup screen but if i pull out the card it works.
Maybe it's my firmware? How do I see what firmware I have and how do I update it?

Hey Hustn are you the guy with the second hand phone?
If so you may have a dud.
Try a standard 64mb card & if that doesnt work take the
phone back mate!
