Right, sorry, but I'm absolutely on the f*cking war path now!!!

You may remember my thread...

http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=109709&start=0

Where my first Sony Ericsson corrupted the card, and all sorts of delays sending me out a new fixed one.

Well not having it for too long it decides; " Oh wouldn't it be fun if I shat myself too " So the earphones have decided it would be fun to play a game and not work in one ear ( Left ) but in the other they do.

This happens when I fully plug them into the little gay bit with "walkman" and the button, but if I half plug them in they work ( plugging them into the second green line )

Any suggestions please before I ring up o2/sony ericsson / a random number and let f*cking loose.

Always suprises me how Homophobic people are in this day and age.

I don't think he was being homophobic, its just his way of saying annoying

Just read your other thread - with a result...

You still have your mums W800 to try a mix and match approach with the head set to see which part is faulty... (hopefully not the phone again)

...are W800's a split affare with a 3.5 jack ~ might be a "pulled" wire on the ear piece side

you did ok with O2 last time around, maybe support will send you a new set (try SE and O2) gratis

on-line support can be quite good at sending out small parts like that

good luck - hope it hasn't put you off SE (or me )

Well there is still no need to use such a term to describe your annoyance, because if you can use such a term in the long term who knows where else you will use it when you annoyed.

In other words iron out such stereo types now rather than later..when its too late.

Gay- it's a general term high-jacked by a group to represent their sexuality. To say something is gay and then be accused of homophobia is pathetic. When I back to my PC (I doubt that mean 'politicaly correct') I'll lay in somemore. If you like?

Maybe you should check the term gay in the dictionary "Gay is used as an adjective which describes stereotypical traits associated with gays and lesbians, their culture, or perceived lifestyle.

If you want to talk about the hi-jacking of the name gay then "Gay was once used to mean "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy" and was very common in speech and literature" For some unknown reason I dont think that when he was describing his mishap with his phone did it mean happy or bright.

To me its the time and place you choose to use this word, I have loads of gay friends, and they prefer to be called gay as opposed to homosexual so all I am saying is pick your words right and its not about being polictically correct.

I'm sorry, but since members seem determined to take this thread off topic and focus on the use of a single word rather than the issue at hand, I will now lock this
