w800i in Los Angeles

I currently use cingular with a w800i phone. My cingular service is spotty since their 1900mhz coverage is spotty. Luckily my contract is up in December. I wanted some feedback from other w800i users in the Los Angeles area. Has anyone had good results using another carrier? - Thanks

where in los angeles are u located? my friend's w8 works just fine.. she's from sta. monica/LAX/sf valley area..

*she got both cingular and t-mobile.
