Hi Guys,
I have to get my sister an MMC card for her 6230i for Christmas. I was just about to purchase a 1GB card from eBay, at the last minute I thought about checking if it was compatable! The GSM Arena site says that the maximum is 512MB. I just need confirmation that this is correct.
Cheers
Dan

Well if you call Nokia (sigh) they will say that they don't support anything higher than 128MB (just to protect their *ss if it does not work)

@dgilmartin - I'm using a 256 MB MMC for my Nokia 9210i now, which some says can go up at - 512 MB, but the 1GB . . . they doubt it. Maybe that's the SAME with the 6230i as well. By the way, will your sister consume all the space in 1GB mate:???: I surmise that the 256/512 MB cards will suffice already . . . Good Luck !

She needs as much space as possible for her mp3s as she travels 3 hours every day on the train. I know that it will definitely accept the 512MB card because it confirms this on the Nokia Website. I just need one person to confirm it works with the 1GB! PLEASSSEEE!!!
Cheers

@digilmartin - I guess what your sister needs is her N6230i with 8 MB MMC and an : Ipod - (2 GB memory)

Cheers Mate, thats all I need it for anyway. I'll just save the tracks onto the card through my PC and listen to them on the phone.
