I did a search on this, and found alot of people had problems, but were solved.

I am having similar problems, but not being solved. I'm trying to update my firmware.

When I press "C" and hook the phone to the usb, Windows detected new hard ware "USB Flash Device". Ok... I downloaded the usb drivers from the SE website, and unzipped them into a folder.

I targeted windows to that folder for drivers to install. Then is says "Cannot install this hardware. The hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the neccessary software."

I have PC suite installed, have transfered files using usb cable, and device manager doesn't have "USB Flash device" in it at all.

Help? thanks.

Ah crap! Nevermind.

I missed the part about "updating usb drivers". What I did was installed the 1st link of the "firmware" thread, and assumed those were the updated drivers, but notice there was a 3rd link for it.

It's working. Thanks.

Sheesh.. i search for hours for answers, and right after I post a thread.. i find the answers....DOH

Anyone know how can i solve it?

The drivers don't need to be downloaded from internet. Try installing this driver when it asks for driver for the "flash device":

@strizlow800, there is nothing there...

"The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable."

Link works, and USB driver works perfect.

Thanx.
