P900 will restart on its own

I have a Sony Ericsson P900 which will ocassionally restart on its own or some times even hang. The only way for me to get it back working is to take out the battery and insert it again

The message that comes up after the restart is "Your phone has been restarted to improve performance"

I have updated the firmware to the latest version from the SonyEricsson web site (Software Update). I am not sure what else to try. Any help will be highly appreciated
