yea m8 i no. i ordered two v3's. one came yesterday, am still waiting for the other to arrive. may give them a call.

Posted by anay
ive got a 0 fb bidder, should i cancel his bid?

Posted by sunjivas
yup I would, he's only joined within the first month and he has no feedback and u did state you didn't want anyone with no feedback bidding...i've had scammers bid on 2 phones i've sold on ebay, its a hassle to relist it and get ebay to refund you fees etc. etc.! However, tbh this guy probly isnt a scammer because they usually jus bid at the end to screw up your sale! Also, he's not causing too much of a problem coz someone is def likely to bid above him! So leave it for the moment?

Posted by anay
k will leave him for now.

thnx for reply.

do you really need to ask?

of course not... it has all the elements of the standard scam

Posted by anay
k thnx... will ignore it.

k i need some advice, the guy who won it had zero feedback, he then paid me the full amount by paypal, jus wanna know what to do next, e.g. can the money be taken out my account by paypal, like if it was a stolen card?

Posted by Ridahz
na the guy could just be new mate

Posted by anay
yea mite be, but he has an unconfirmed address, he's emailed me asking when i'll be seding it.

any advice? i dont wanna send the phone and then see paypal have taken it out of my account.

Posted by Ridahz
hmmm if it was me id would just send the phone mate. seems just a worried new ebayer to me.

Posted by masseur
here is what paypal says

Protection Policies - Seller Protection Policy

Can I ship to unconfirmed addresses?

Yes, but unconfirmed addresses are not covered under the Seller Protection Policy. If the transaction is covered by the Seller Protection Policy, it will be designated as "eligible" on the Transaction Details page and it will contain a Confirmed Address.
If the transaction is eligible, simply ship to the buyer's confirmed address displayed on the Transaction Details page
If the transaction is ineligible for the Seller Protection Policy, delivering to a Confirmed Address increases the chances of dealing with a legitimate buyer

personally, I don't find many unconfirmed addresses these days but obviously new accounts do have this so I immediately transfer the funds to my bank, which takes about 4 or 5 days, then send the goods. This also gives time for paypal to be informed from whoever that there has been fraud and pass that info to you so that you don't send the goods

Posted by anay
once they're transfered to my bank paypal can't take any money out can they?

Posted by Ridahz
once in your bank it should stay there just tell the winning bidder to wait so the money clears pal

Posted by anay
what if i refund him, and tell him to pay by cheque?

Posted by Ridahz
he may back out then mate and i once took a cheque it cleared and somehow he got his money back after he had recieved the phone i threatened with legal action and he paid but very dodgy mate dont in my opinion.

Posted by anay
so what would be the best thing to do?

Posted by Ridahz
tell him to wait until payment has cleared pal

Posted by kk.226
Even still, he cang et his money back by paypal once it's in ur bank account, happened to me before. You paypal goes into a minus, and after 180 days you bank gets charged, or once you recieve money into your paypal, it takes it out the minus.
