w800 Bluetooth Remote
Can anyone tell me how to change the short cuts for the remote. I have a connection to the pc, and have no problem to use/steer the mouse pointer from the phone. But I can't remote iTunes.. Tried at itunes homepage, only found a update for the appel os.. and not for MS win XP...
Haven't tried Windows media player.. but i guess it works.

yes i have flashed my K750i to W800i firmware
anyway back on topic please!
just send the HID file across to your phone via bluetooth, if you have done every little sgortcut correctly on your laptop then once its on your phone it WILL work
p.s. If you want me to, I'm feeling in a helpful mood as usual eheh, I could create a HID profile then email it to you if you want. just let me know any requests you want on it, e.g. the basics like play / pause / next track / previous track / volume up / volume down / then any others you would like!

you use bluetooth i guess seen as you want to control iTunes, yeh?
then just say send via BT to your file and your phone will save it on its own, it doesn't go in a special place, just the phone throws it their on its own!

It works now.. thanks.. just got the bluetooth today. And i havent installed any file trans. program.. but used the BT to trans. Now i just have to change my remote pic.. lol

this is because the remote is active only on the foremost open window on your computer so if you had internet explorer open and iTunes minimised then the remote would control the internet!

it would be like saying that the mouse/keyboard only should work with one particular program only..
the picture for remote is in the HID file.. right? I know that i can import it with the sony remote HID program creator. Just want to know.. is it possible to make an 3gp at the reslolution 176 * 220. I know that when i play videos in the walkman i can make it fullscreen. whats the limit for the size of an 3gp file on the w800i.. lol.. lot of questions.

Actually you can control apps in the background - just not using HID files.
Take a look at Salling Clicker at www.salling.com
This lets you control iTunes like a HID file, but also:
- view track and artist names on your mobile's screen
- view album artwork on your mobile's screen
- rate tracks
- search for artists, tracks and albums from the mobile
- choose playlists and tracks from menus on your mobile
It also does LOADS more but you can read about that on the site...

I can make the coneccetion (remote control bluetooth w800) only if i make the connection form the PC to de Mobile.. but when i try to do it from the phone to the pc. it repeats connecting remote control and doesnt work.

Hi Guys,
I can't get the Remote Control function on my K750i to control Media Player on my PC. The joystick on the phone just moves the mouse pointer on the PC screen.
Can anyone tell me how to get the K750i to control the PC Media Player? (as it is supposed to!)

hi...i was wondering if anyone could post what the shortcuts for rewind and fast forward are on i tunes i cant seem to find them anywhere....wmp has it so i just presumed that i tunes most probably has it too.
