It appears that if you're planning on going for an XDA there are some serious problems to be aware of:

For what its worth, I can verify the SD problem as it occurs on mine. I've switched back to my P800 whilst I attempt a resolution with O2 customer services...

mmm, anyway I'm still anticipating there upcoming XDA Atom. A real temptation.

why anyone would want the 2i with the old windows mobile 2003 SE operating system rather than the newer and much better (IMHO) windows mobile 5 I have no idea

it seems like the wm5 devices are noticeably slower than equivalent hardware spec wm2003 devices...

plus of course there are the (admittedly short-term) software compatibility issues...

I'm not convinced about loss of performance. I find my k-jam is a bit snappier than my old jam in many way though there is sometimes lag at displaying icons in the program and settings menus

Windows Mobile 5 appears to have a lot of compatibility issues, this is why I'm sticking with PPC 2003SE on my X50V for now.
