@xerx, for testing pa lang ng Globe at Glorietta Activity Center until Dec 14. Again you need a 3G phone & a new sim due to a different protocol.

tested a w900 earlier.. i forgot to check the settings..
data transfer speeds was about 230kbps using bandwidthplace.com

japek.. i know it wont work... i just want to know the settings.... everybody here knows that it needs a usim, activated w/ their switch among others.
i just wanna know what apn are they using for this....
and the demo is from dec 8 to dec 11
and we just hope that existing plan subscribers doesnt have to enrol another line just for the 3g... or they will support prepaid subs too.

sana ung 3G na yan, upgrade lang ung sim for F R E E !

guys, i just bought a SE v800 fon (vodafone) in the black market, its z800i here (only globe have launch this phone model).. recently, "no network problem" and "emergency calls only" problem persist, there are locations where i have strong signals and in some part, no signal at all..
I have spent the past 2 days doing a bunch of searching and reading from the internet about these problems and found out that there were similar cases globally.. i really can't tel if these are firmware or hardware-related? can anyone help? 619?

u have to ask gprs re that, there might be antenna/wire problem inside that unit.

Finally settled here sa Dubai...badtrip nga lang at bagal ng dial up. bukas pa mag papakabit ng dsl. astig ng dsl dito at usb modem ang gamit imbes na lan connection. W900i is realeased widely nung friday pa for 2195dhs(mga 30.7k), mahal nga lang ng 3G rental kahit prepaid(may 25dhs rental monthly) tapos nde pa lahat ng tao naka 3G kaya halos walang kwenta. Mura ng ipod video dito, yun 30GB costs 18.7k from authorized dealers dito while kung sa black market mga 17k lang sya. Daming gadgets parin kaya parang heaven sa mga gadgetfreaks dito. kahit oakley lintik sa mura...wala lang kwento ko lang

lastly, yun kakilala ko sa
