Broadcaster Ernie Baron dies of heart attack
ABS-CBN correspondent Ernie Baron, known for his moniker "the walking encyclopedia," passed away Monday morning at the age of 65, ANC reported.
His attending physician Cesar Berroya said Baron was declared dead on arrival at 9:30 a.m. at Medical Center Muntinlupa.
He said Baron may have died of silent myocardial infection or of diabetes complications.
Baron's daughter, Shirley, said his father did not answer when called for breakfast on Monday morning. She said she immediately barged into the room and rushed his unconscious father to the hospital.

@GPRS i think what you're saying is that he died in his sleep. heart attack (mycardial infarction, not infection, due to diabetes complications). in any case, condolences and prayers to a most astonishing human being the Philippines has ever produced. ey guys. to k750i owners, may nakapagupdate na ba sa inyo ng firmware to r1aa008? kakabili ko lang kase ng cell ko last thursday, firmware version nya is r1l -- something... tapos update ko sya kahapon using SEus. kaya lang pag almost full na yung bar na "updating" biglang lalabas yugn message na "update failed disconnect the phone and try again". ganun palagi yung nangyayari everytime i-update ko. pag ni-on ko yung cell gumagana naman sya kaya lang ayaw gumana ng cam. invalid driver version daw. i need help, sana matulungan nyo ko
