battery sucks,i have to charge 2 to 3 times a day even with minimal usage...1hour of listenin to mp3 drains the battery by half...my phones jus 3 months old..i have heard similar battery issues...but mine sounds insane....btw my firmware is r2ae
my questions are....
1. how long u charge ur k700 for optimum battery life???
2.i have read in forums that a 3310 battery can be used on a k700...is it true??has anyone tried??

the batt of a new fone reaches the max standby time between the second week and second month. always charge the fone in off mode, drain the batt once in a month ( or every second month ).

Charge the batt till it's full, no more nor less. @Boba for a k700 battery it's not good to drain it since it's li-pol. When you get in red zone you can freely plug it in charger.

i drained first my li-pols when my service friend advised it, have to admit, i never did it before. didnt noticed any faulty.

will charging from an ordinary data cable from pc decrease battery life??cos i dont charge from the orig se charger....am online mosta the time so i charge thro data cable...

also wats the ideal time for a full charge??

well that sounds serious...my k700 is 10 months old and i use it a lot but i isten about 4-5 hours a day radio or mp3s and then it's half the battery...i charge the battery every night which is not a problem

Depends on what you're doing too. Don't expect the battery to last too long if your listening to music while taking pictures with the flash on.

Flashes are infamous for battery drainage. My sis drained my battery with a half hour flurry of flash photography.

I use batt until red, then recharge. P900. good batt for 18 month now.
