not really streaming TV. but video.google.com is pretty good. they have loads of different tv shows/movies etc. porridge, family guy,top gear, simpsons. Passes the time well at work

I had a few good links but because the mods count the mcommunity.biz site as a warez site the links aren't allowed.

@Kryptik, thats because most of them are! (or at least 90% of them that I have checked after being posted here)

@seanflynn, yeah I had the sandisk wifi SD card in my Jam and it worked great. much nicer having it built into the nw k-jam though

gonna check out video.google.com now!

Hi Guys,

Yes the wifi card is superb, also has a little cool blue led light to show you when data is being transferred.

I have 2MB broadband and can stream through my house and even 3 doors down. It has a really good coverage.

@Massuer - Yes that was the only thing I wanted and it didnt have was built in Wifi - But with this it makes it just complete.

Great because lots of videos can be transferred without having to re-encode them and then the quality isnt to great!

the tittle of the Topic and the actual content discussed here is as acurate as a getting a elefant in a post box without touching the sides...

Heck can we discuss cookery here too?

I disagree. I've been using Pocket DVD Studio for a couple of years to encode music DVDs (I mentioned this in my "A couple of my mates. Meet JasJar and K-Jam (many pics)" thread btw). Once the settings are setup its one click thereafter and it makes great videos (see a couple of screen shots below from "Fast Love"). I play them back using The Core Pocket Media Player

@Gardar- Think the Stations have terrestrial rights and what you saying may be prohibited.

But what the heck !
Tell me if you really can do it..
Am game to watch Iceland TV
Even bigger, to push out certain 'localised' Financial Stations here in India to someone Africa !! As they miss it there

p900 lover & sailaab,

Yes Its pretty much illegal but probably not in all countries, but hey Im a pirate

What is needed is a tv-card, high speed connection with static IP and streaming software... There is even some such streaming software from microsoft

I had some step-by-step manual how to do it. I will tell you the link to that manual and the name of the software when I'll go to my pc later today (currently posting from my pocket pc)

But unfortunately I can't stream icelandic tv as I don't have tv-card... but Im probably gonna buy one in the next weeks, then I could try streaming to you

But is someone who has tv-card interested to try to stream some tv-stations to us?

Posted by 50Cent
do the people who want to watch the streamed media need a tv card also?

nope, the just need wmp, winamp, mplayerc, vlc or some video player... The streamers only need tv-cards to get the tv in their computer, to be able to stream it...

yeah, I will try to do this as soon as I have a tv-card... But I don't know if it will be for long as it can be pretty risky and will probably eat up my 12mbps connection....

Go On garder go for it!
