I've released Version 1.6 from MyPhoneExplorer. I made some new features :
• LDIF Import/Export (for Thunderbird)
• Listexport to OpenOffice
• Support for new phones: W550, W600, W810, W900 erweitert (contacttags)
• Callmonitor with handling for more calls at the same time
• Messagenotification
• Automatic disconnect/connect
• Calls will be archived
• Better calendar: Copy&Paste, calendarweeks are displayed, first day of week editable
• Load different users via menu
• Searchfunction for all Lists
• JAVA-Download now for K300, K500, K508, K700 and S700
• Phonedata can be crypted (optional)

it's funny... i had 1.1.41 and it worked fine.. so i downloaded the latest (1.2), tried running it... it loads the programs, flashes for a second and it shuts itself down.... tried the updates, and still same thing.... lost all my contact!, data,,.. ouch!!...

@neox: No Data are lost if you don't deinstalled MyPhoneExplorer. Please send me the Debugfile (C:\Programs\MyPhoneExplorer\debug.txt) with a exact error description if possible (errormessages, screenshots,...)
@Ninja Dom: The smsarchive is stored in [MyPhoneExplorerpath]\[Userpath]\sms.dat. But its not recommed to work with this file. better you export these messages to a seperate sms-File.
For users which use the DSS-20 or DSS-25:
- 115200 Baud -> works, fileupload up to 12 KB/s
- 256000 Baud -> don't work
- 406800 Baud -> new, works with 30 KB/uploadspeed !!

I tried several times to perfrom the update to 1.2, but to no evail... So, I uninstalled MPE 1.1.41 (ouch!).... but I have made a backup using it last week, so i have the backup file!!!...
I did enjoy MPE... while it was working..
I will send you the debug file when i get home tonight.... The weird thing is: I dont get any error messages or popups or anything.. The installation is perfromed without any glitches (first, i donwloaded the '1.19MB' file, installed that.. then i downloaded the update file ~'753k'.)... then, when i load the program, it loads up, and flashes for 1sec.. and shuts itself off... Do you think it's conflicting with something... I closed all other apps too, same outcome...

Please also try this microsoft patch
If you write me the mail please also submit me your languagesetting on computer, the OS (Win98, XP ?) and some things which are not standard on your machine (if you think, this could hav something to do with this).
Then install version 1.1.41 once more. Does this version work ?

Appears to be a very nice program! However using my K750i through both bluetooth and the USB cable I can't access any of my contacts, organiser or messages! Any ideas? The Calls, Files and Other tabs work fine tho...

Running on XP Pro.. English.. downloaded ver 1.2 (1.19MB).. I installed 1.1.41, then ran 1.2 on top... MPE loaded up, flashed for 1 sec and then shut itself down...same as previous.... what is the update file for (731KB)???? i have included the debug file u requested:

Awesome programme, I teke that I can drag and drop files into the folder on the phone memory?
Works so much better than the SE file manager.
Is there any way of getting the memory card status to show along with all the other pie charts?
Oh and for some reason it wont let sync the phone time with the pc time.

Still a great app!
It's just become Daylight Savings Time (Summertime) here in New Zealand but MPE still wants to sync me to normal time even though my K700i is set to Summertime (+1hr) setting. What can I do?

I will try to find whats going wrong - if i need further information i will contact forka per mail. The updatefile changes only the file MyPhoneExplorer.exe and the file IconLib.dll. The update and the fullsetup are the same versions !
@skotbites: sorry there is no way to show the memorystatus of the memorystick. If no internetconnection is avaiable, MyPhoneExplorer uses the pc-clock for sync
@carkitter: You mean the clock-sync ? MyPhoneExplorer checks out the systemsettings (on pc) to look if its summertime or normal time. Please check out your system settings.
@fEArmE: You have to find the right COM-Port (use SetupCOM). For further support i need more infos (phonemodell, connection, os,...)
MyPhoneExplorer supports at the moment 16 languages - guys, thats not enought
. MyPhoneExplorer should be a global player . So if you want to create a languagefile please contact me per mail. You can find my mailaddy in the about-window of MyPhoneExplorer

I have version 1.2.1 after i downloaded the upgrade from your site. It's a great program cept for the issue that it crashes after i select organizer. Everything else works except for the organizer. I guess its the calendar that's causing it to crash. Hope you can have it fixed ASAP.

Sorry, yes I meant Clock Sync with Global Atom time.
I've checked the time settings on my laptop and they're all good.
Daylight Savings changeover was 2am Sunday 2nd October here in NZ.
No alterations were necessary for my version of XP -it changed over by itself.
However Global Atom Time listed on MPE has not changed over yet - it's showing a difference of 3600 seconds (1 hour). Can I alter MPE's Daylight Savings Settings?

@fearme: You have set the wrong COM-Port. The right port should be descripted in myPhoneExplorer in the COM-List as "COMX - K750 USB-Port". If no port has this description please reinstall the USB-Cable-Drivers.
@carkitter: MPE reads the Tiezonesettings from your Laptop. Does the viewed GMT/summertimnesettig in the sync-clockwindow match with your Laptop ?

The problem is on the new calendarview. To deactivate the calendarview please open the file C:ProgramsMyPhoneExplorergeneral.ini , goto Section [Main] and make this entry:
[Main]
CalendarView=0

Hi FJ, Very nice piece of software, however I have run into a couple of problems with my setup, I have a K750i R1N, Com via bluetooth with windows XP SP2. Everything works fine except for Alarms, it seems to lock up the program when I go into it (the phone actually resets!) and as such drops the connection. The other thing is with sent items, it indicates the time on all messages sent from my phone as 'No Indication'... Any suggestions??

@stirlsilver: I think there was a bug in SE-Phones when all days of recurrent alarm are deactivated. Set the recurrent alarm on phone on some Days active and it should work.
Timestamp of sent messages. I said it very often and i will say it to you once more. This is NOT POSSIBLE. There is no way to fix that. MyPhoneExplorer saves the Timestamp of a send message if the message was sent with the MPE. But that is all i can do.

XP SP2 Date and Time Properties.
Under Date and Time tab: Current Time Zone - NZ Daylight Time
Under Time zone tab: GMT+12.00 Auckland, Wellington, Automatically adjust time for Daylight Savings, ticked.
Under Internet Time tab: time.windows.com
Dunno what else I can do??

Under the Calendar view, the 'New Task' icon right next to "new appt.'; when u hover over it with ur cursor it displays it in Deutsch: Neue Aufgabe !!...
I do like the "upload Java app" feature!!!!! Also, MPE seems a bit faster now!....
One more, thing: could you implement a 'directory' tree under the Files section?!! on the left column!. that would b nice!

Just downloaded it today....works brilliantly with my new K750i....I had installed FMA prior to this, and faced some issues in getting it to connect .....but got it right the first time with this wonderful lil program ...thanks a ton @zillertale....looking forward to the next version
