Just in case you didn't know, adding "RCT" (without speech marks) to the start of an SMS will return a receipt when the message has been delivered.
Are there any other codes that can be added to SMS, useful or otherwise?

... but only if your network supports the service (meaning it's network dependent)
alternatively, you can set your phone to request for activating Messages>SMS>Options>Status Request. Now you dont have to use include "RCT" in your message at all.
