Okey fellas, does anyone knows what happens if you drop a K750i in this?:

Ha, my cousin sure knows! I can upload a "after effect" picture in a couple of days if someone is interested!
(Picture taken with MY k750)

how did he manage it?

Posted by darudey
lol - go on then! Its gonna hurt to see the damage!

Posted by mrao
How did your cousin manage to get the k750 into that particular spot in the first place ??

Posted by corez
He was cleaning the "front" and droped it, then when he started he heard a "boom" behind him. He got out and found the phone in the hmm ... "container".

Posted by Glenny
what a waste! i wanna see!!!!!!!!!

Posted by Leviath
You could also use davinci with less "stricking" results....

I wanna see too

Posted by BobaFett
the good old gh388 or lets say, r250pro had survived... at least u could make calls with them, even the housing is "damaged"... hejsan /// !

Posted by corez
The thing is that the phone is still intact. The screen is broken and the housing is "warped", but you can make calls to the phone. But he had to dissamble it to get the battery out (to remove the sim). I think the Krusell case helped alot!

Posted by BobaFett
nice. at least se is starting to make quality fones... so he can rec, but not start calls?

Posted by Glenny
PPPIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCTTTTTTTTUUUUUUURRRRREEEEESSSSSSSSS

how long will the piccys be now?

Posted by corez
As far as i know itīs only possible to recive calls. I have the phone next to me but i dont have the energy to try and make a call. I will take a picture when i get my K750 back from the service. Only have my P900 now and that camera sucks as you all know

Posted by Leviath
what a seller....

IT STILL WORKS ladies and Germes...

Looky here....

The phone who dared death and won....

Posted by jcwhite_uk
Lets have early pics from the P900.
At least it was only his phone that went in there. A friend of mine lost half his finger when his work mate turned on a combine harvester while he was clearing a blockage.

Posted by corez
ohh lucky it only was his finger. Those things is prety dangerous. You have to be carfull when dealing with them!

Posted by BobaFett
a fone is just a fone, it can be replaced if it is. the health is what comes in first line!

Posted by Leviath
You mean

-fcuk da phone I am happy the guy didnt turn the harvester on wilst I had my neck half stuck in there trying to get the K750i out of the cilinder sort of thing????

@corez - How can that be if the fone itself is damaged, case/screen and all of it's exterior shell.

Posted by Gigs
I think he means it helped that the phone isn't now confetti.

... and as everyone else said.. pics pics pics!

Posted by *Jojo*
@gigs - Ohhhh, as if it was dropped straight from 'paper shredder' machine huh

Posted by Leviath
k750i confetti....

There a thought!

Posted by Sammy_boy
I might be interested in the remains of that phone if it still appears to work! Is the camera unit intact?

It must've done well to survive as well as it did going through that thing!

Posted by bondock
As every1 else said....pics or it didn't happen!! lol

Posted by *Jojo*
Sammy Boy to the rescue Esato's Mr. Chop-Chop King ! Jnowing this guy, he can still salvage some integral parts from that dilapidated K750i . . . Yup, pics as evidence is needed here.

H m m m . . the exterior may/can be salvaged at that, but what about the interior/integral parts

@corez - Any problems encountered browsing the menu and 'all' of it's functions mate?

Posted by Leviath
boys the perfect test subject could be this one....

How about a Franken750in

Posted by corez
Actually i dont have a freaking idea how the phone is working(or not working). The only thing i know is that you can call to it. One more thing, when he messed it up he called the insurance company , so the imei may be blocked. Not sure about that tho. I guess you are able to check that out some how.

The best part, if you buy it, gu get a fre krusell-case! lol

Posted by *Jojo*
@corez - What's the use of the case if the fone's IMEI was already blocked I am not certain too if you can still answer the fone when somebody's calling . . . (I mean, if you can still talk to the other party).

Posted by corez
I will try to start the phone right now, brb with an answer if it is possible to talk

edit: Yes, it it possible to call AND recive on the phone. The mic and speaker works just fine. The camera doesnt seems to work tho, i dont hear that "shutter" sound. But when i open the camera lid i can activate the leds with *.

Edit again: hmm, maby i didnt hear the shutter sound becous it was no memcard in the phone? And the settings was: Save on memorycard?

H m m m . . . looks like it's only 'half-dead' I do remember one member saying to me that a fone cannot be easily - 'killed' ( resulting to a dead set), unless you hammer it ! It can still be salvaged I guess, with a decoy in mind (covers), better replace the shell Corez, and sell it at once just don't leave any trace that you (or your friend) owned it !

Posted by corez
hehe yeah. Just talked to him and told him that it was possible to talk with it. And it sounds like he want to buy a new LCD and shell to it. If it works than, hey, nice to have 2 K750 If i where in his position i would have traded the phone for a memorystick or something

Posted by Sammy_boy
Damn, I was wondering about buying that off you, fixing it up and having myself a cheap K750i!

Posted by corez
haha I think it is still possible

Posted by *Jojo*
@sammy - Better think again pal It might cost you a very considerable amount here in order to have this K750i work like a brand new unit again . . .

Posted by corez
The price for a LCD here in Sweden is 699 SEK (74€). I think that is preaty cheap.
