go to sound settings and mute the microphone , it stays on but it just doesnt output through the speakers

Hey speaking of speakers, when i play music on my pc and click the mouse or scroll the music is distorted but if i leave the mouse alone (ie not scroll) it is fine.
Any ideas to stop it or are my speakers buggered...

seeing your topic just made me realise about my pc it is weird not a major problem just wanted to scroll/use mouse and listen to the music, probly need new speakers

You can record the sound that is going through the soundcard so you don't need a microphone, google for such software or the windows recorder can do it (can't remember)
For miss: Try with other speakers or even plug earpiece, if you have a sound then it's the soundcard the problem.

You know something Miss C, you have the strangest PC problems I've ever come across
Might be worth trying different speakers but I can't see how scrolling the mouse could directly effect them
Is it a wireless mouse? Does it use it's own program to add 'enhanced features' like extra buttons on the mouse and / or keyboard? (look in the system tray, bottom right hand corner near the time. Hover your mouse over all of the icons and it might give you a clue)
The usual computer geek route would be to update your sound drivers in case it's a software issue. Then try new speakers, then try a new sound card.
I'm clutching at straws here, this ones got me stumped! It probably is something simple like the speakers or maybe even the mouse?
