Yeah I think its a worthy replacement for the K750. As a bonus its also 3g! The screen resolution also looks promising.

Wasnt quite sure of the spec but does seem to be able to match the K750i plus 3G but the memory can only go upto 512mb.

@jc - Nice pic mate ! It's a nice alternative/substitute for the K750i . . . When I was about to get my K750i about 1.5 months ago, I was opting either with it or a Motorola V3 RAZR (predecessor), I was shocked to see that it has only - 5 MB
of memory

Yup, try gsmarena.com. It's probably there with full specs. My personal favourite for info on mobile phones. If you've seen it around before, gsmarena probably has all the info and even reviews on it.

Looks nice.
However:
- No IR (for compatibility with other ppl's older devices).
- Limited memory (both internal and expansion).
- Probably will not have an external flash attachment (like the MXE-60 for K750i) so shots in darker environments will be inferior.
Don't get me wrong- I am not bashing Motorola.. but these are just my thoughts. Design is still very sleek and classy. However, have tried the V3 before. Menus are horrible and don't like the feel of the buttons.

Nutin special, IF u add memory stick and a 2 mp cam to a k600, it would be better than this thingy, Im sure SE will have a competitor for this model closer to the release date!

I prefer the look of the original V3 to the V3x. The only thing that it has over the Z800i is its size and 2mp camera. The z800i can take more memory than the V3x.

I do agree I prefer the look of my V3 too.
For some reason I really thought this was EDGE, not UMTS, but a google seems to confirm it is UMTS.
I wouldn't worry too much about the "up to 512mb" thing. As usual, manufacturers tend to only quote what is currently available and I can't say I have seen 1gb transflash yet

Yup, gotta admit the razr looks really good. Contrary to belief, motorola phones aren't all that hard to use now. And their functions are pretty good as well. So why not give it a chance? =)

I have to agree, this is one for my collection, as is the SLVR which still seems hard to find unbranded
shame that it still has the relatively titchy external screen like the V3

So I dont think you can really compare them,besides the camera. There needed to be some compensation to cram a good battery for 3g and and 2 cameras.

Hi there i have been using this phone for a few days now.
Its not too bad at all, its been a while since ive actually used a motorola, i must say im impressed, the camera is not too bad at all.
The functions on the fone are new to me like being able to lock application i.e. messages so only you (the password holder) can read the specific application.
I have one issue the camera stays on when you close the flip, and i sometimes have issues accesing the call list menu after sending a text and the green call button does not work.

V3x looks very impressive alot better formfactor then w900 but some questions I'm pondering about is.
1) How is the headset compared to the one shiped with w900(or w800 I like the new style headsets from
alot)
2) Do you have a 3.5mm headset plug as you get possibility with w800/w900 (if you do then you also have possibility to connect and use as mp3player on other stereos etc.)
3) Do Moto have a FM tramsmitter as the one
is releasing for w900 (great in the car imho).
If Moto V3x has any of the above things im asking about I'm seriossly gonna think about getting a v3x instead of a w900 which I think is a bit to bulky. (Though I haven't seen one irl yet might change my mind when I do).
