Here's something that might interest you,pre-paid and all from your nearest CPW: Mobileworld. (I think they use T-Mobile's roaming)
Check the international rates out:

Hope this helps.

"ok that'll be super.. have to findout how much to Germany

rite well better get of to bed
n8 all"
I know, i spent a few hundred calling US a few times!!
Ok, calling Gerrrmany is 7p To Landline
& 20p To Mobiles
And you need to make 1 call every 60 days to keep it active.
Hope that helps

o2 payg has a call saver option which lets yous call europe for 7p a minute or europe for 5p a minute. Until jan the option is free.

Depending on your network and tariff, I find http://www.yourcallworld.com/Default.aspx very good. I'm on o2 and have not been charged a penny for using this service. The minutes just come off your monthly allowance.
Or you could go to

Hi all
Thanks for all your suggestions
@ KK... Yeah I think I will go for that 1 7p a min is good.. better than 38p per min of my telewest phone
wish never swapped to them now... BT was cheap as chips for international calls
@ Soul. That first link sounds intresting... are you sure theres no strings there
@ I was looking at that cheap calls site but im put of by having to take a contract with anyone
already have a o2 contract.. ive enquired to them about cheap calls abroad to but I think they wont be able to offer anything suitable for my needs

As I said, i've checked my bill online and i've asked a couple of customer service agents and it's billed as a normal x network mobile call. Give it a try. Try a 1 minute call abroad and then check your bill online or phone up cs and ask whether you've been charged. you could also try http://www.simplyonestep.com/ or http://www.simply-fone.com/.

Will the number on your call work with o2 PAYG minuites (the 100mins with a £10 top up) ? Anybody tried? Thanks,
Posted by soulframe
Should do as it's just a normal mobile number. That's as long as those 100 minutes include x net calls.

www.moneysavingexpert.com/callchecker/
This wil find the cheapest price for calling other countries landlines and mobile from UK landlines.
Most countries can be called for 2p, 1p or even 0p a minute!

If your doing it regularly, sign up with Alpha Telecom, sdave yo ua packet.

Looking at their rates, Alpha Telecom are considerably more expensive than many companies listed at www.moneysavingexpert.com/callchecker/
and you don't need to sign up with the majority of them - just direct dial, billed to your regular phone bill.
