I am about to have a CK3100 fitted for use with my K700i and K750i.

I have been reading about the recent problems with the K750i

And the fact that a special release of firmware is now available for the CK3100 - 4.11K (previously known as 4.11SE).

The release notes say that the 4.11K firmware is required only for the following phones:-
Samsung E620, E720, E530 and Sony-Ericsson K600i (vR2G001), K750i (vR1L002)

I want to use a K700i at version R2AY004 and a K750i at R1L002. So only one of my phones meets the list.

I have tried e-mailing Parrot - but no reply (which does not seem unusual).

Can anyone offer any advice/experience? Should I use 4..1 or 4.11K?

Does anyone run 4.11 with a K750i at R1L002?

i just had my parrot installed today and I am using 4.11 with K750i R2L.

Unfortunatly the phone keeps disconnected. This is not surprising from what I have read about the K750i Bluetooth.

I have enabled the power saving option to see if that helps, but really i just want some new firmware and bluettoth which is compatible with BT 1.x

Hi - I spoke to Parrot's help desk in France today. They advised the following:-

1- You have to upgrade your CK3100 with the version 4.11, or the special version 4.11K if one of your other paired devices is a Samsung SGH E530/E620/E720.

2- Before pairing, you have to activate a special mode. From the display, refer to the menu SETTINGS->ADVANCED SETTINGS->PAIR WITH PHONE...->select SAMSUNG E-720, E-530. Then pair your phone while "PAIR YOUR PHONE" is displayed on the screen.

So you only need 4.11K if you use a Samsung as well as the K750.

But you do need to pair the K750 via a special mode (called Samsung E-720, E-530) before pairing your K750i. You need to do this even if you don't use a Samsung.

Also, from what I have read you definatly need the power save function turned off. Let me know how you get on.
