Orange has far degraded its gprs services and I(along with so many other Orange gprs users) am desperately looking for the perfect gprs package. i'm seriously considering Trump. I've heard that TRump charges Rs.100 per month for gprs(web AND wap?) . That appears too good to be true. So can anybody USING Trump actually confirm? Post all your comments on the service esp. whether they block sites like tagtag or not. Please help.:-)

Well Neha I am a trump user in Delhi. Trump is MTNL's prepaid service. In delhi GPRS is not yet available on Trump although it is on post paid -Dolphin
In Mumbai.....i dont think so gprs is available on Trump as well but they may have just introduced it.
In Mumbai on post padi for Rs 90 u get 5 MB of "mobile only" data transfer and 50MMS free.
Unlimited )PC browsing as well for 349....good deal
In delhi....Mtnl's gprs is way too expensive.....Rs 199 for 5 MB mobile only data transfer sans any free mms

Hey gstar if you don't know whether trump's got gprs in Mumbai , what did you go on to explain? Forgive my stupidity if i've missed something. And whizkidd, thanks for asking, i'm glad someone noticed. I got this on 29 August. Monday. :-)

Hi Neha.....well just to clarify things.....
Mtnl has a post paid service under the name of Dolphin on which GPRS facility is available
And MTNL also has a prepaid service under the name of TRUMP....on which the GPRS facility is NOT yet available
The info I provided was for Dolphin and not Trump
If u wanna go postpaid.....u can opt for GPRS on it.

Trump is providing GPRS facility

The customer can avail this facility by sending SMS to 444 in the format "ACT GPRS 5" for activation and "DEACT GPRS 5" for deactivation.
The SMS sent to '444' will be charged at the rate of Rs.2/-.
The activation and deactivation will be done automatically from the IN system without the intervention of the Call Center.-->
The problem as per the document provided by trum to configur the gprs setting in the phone is not working.
If any body have the knowledge please pass it on.

I doubt if those trump (players with no trump) people have improved but many users have developed the skill of the best use of mtnl. Alas . . Newton's 1st law again.
