i got an email from a friend selling a nokia 7210 he bought in Finland and he says that it HAS ir port... i tried to find some info on the internet but i can't find anything. in esato it says that it doesn't have but that's not a reliable source. In nokia's site it doesn't say if it has or not (but it doesn't say either for 8310, but it has).
NOKIA 7210 HAS IR PORT OR NOT??? do you have any url with a review on this phone that specifies its features?

he is in finland now, and he is a Nokia dealer. he told me he got it from finland a few days ago... he didn't get it from a store or something... eventhough it seems a little strange that he got the phone but it's not on stores yet... if a dealer can get the phone from nokia, how come the stores don't have it yet/??..

And yeah it does have Infra-red port

Sorry about that man. I cannot find information regarding the infrared port on the 7210 either. But I can remember that the Nokia website indicated it has an infrared port to it under the full specification section of the webapge that has been taken off now. It does have the Infrared port on it. I am looking for it on the web as well. If I come across anything significant confirming that infrared is on the phone then I will let you know.
AFAIK it does have infrared. I am 99.9% sure about that.

No it does not have bluetooth but it certainly has Infrared. Remember 7210 is same as 6610. Only the design is supposed to be different. Other than that everyhting is the same. I found out for sure the 6610 has infrared port so 7210 is bound to have it as well. Check out http://www.nokia-asia.com/nokia_apac/asia_pacific/6610_features for further reference. I am now a 110% sure it does have infra-red.

the cnet site says that there is voice control in the 6610 and in the 7210 there is not and there is some differences like hscsd i think 6610 is better, or what?

well, both have high speed data, and ir and no voice controls... i think that only the design changes... they might have a difference in dynamic memory though... have no idea

There is absoluteley no difference between the 7210 and 6610 except the design ..
