I'm using SEk508i to access gprs from airtel online in Ahmedabad.pls clear my doubt anyone.do they charge anything apart from Rs.99 rent p.m.?i mean,any charge for per Kb download etc.?it has not been a full month since i started d subscription.d cust.care ppl din say anythin on this download charges.i normally visit free wap sites alone.but does airtel charge us for free downloads we make?thx in advance.cheers!

If cc say so then it better be. Actually AirTel charges different rates in different states. You are lucky, in Chandigarh its charges rs 600.

That's wat normally i do everytime.but those cust care ppl out here are all sorta dumb.unless u keep askin all imaginable questions in permutations n combinations they won't give u a right answer.that's why posting query here so as to get direct replies from common users.thx a lot.

@iam. I am also at Gujarat Airtel. Eat and drink as you like. No extra charges. Only 99 rs and that is it for a.t on line.

@prad,thx a bunch 4 that info.cuz earlier used to use hutch gprs at Chennai n was once falsely charged for close to 200 bucks which made me discontinue the service right away.that was d cause of concern.well,hope here all goes fine.cheers!

@Iamz. There is no charge for mms from atel to atel/hutch. If you send to other networks from atel then pay rs.5/- each.

. We are charged GPRS@600 , MMS @ 600 , EDGE @ 1000. You ppl are getting gprs at 99 and mms free. I think we should have MOBILE RIGHTS COMMISSION OF INDIA to protect mobile users from harassment.

Hey here in tamilnadu the postpaid plans have monthly charges of 600rs and the prepaid plans have monthly charges of 99rs. The gprs that is available in postpaid can be used for browsing with the pc also whereas in the case of prepaid we can only browse in the mobile device... Both of them, prepaid and postpaid are charges for unlimited usage(no extra charges)
I heard that in kerala the unlimited gprs charge for postpaid plan is just rs.250 only which can be used with a pc also...
What a price difference?

In kerala its 250/-......... 199/- in mumbai and 150/- bucks in maharashtra circle!
