looks good but they are all flip phones .. when i was there .. wow .. the hp shops are every where .. selling all kinda ph ... wonder how the ppl there rem their model !!!! they even had a law tht each company can only launch 1 new model each year according to my jap friend...

1 model a year? I like that! That should really encourage them to do their best.
I hate companies that release something one day, and a month later, they come out with something a thousand times better, and another month...

Well its not rocket science. Ofcourse Japan is going to have nice and desirable phones.
Think about it they have already scrapped GSM and thats what we are still using and will be for years to come. They are already using 3G and stuff like I-mode. Japan is several years ahead of the rest in this sector so it comes as no suprise that phones there are nice and look cool.

Knowing it does not interest many people, I still post this message just to clarify the fact. No offence to anyone.
In Japan, there is no such law that states one company can produce only one handset per year. They can produce as many as they want. For example, Sharp has produced 2 handsets for J-phone this year, Mitsubishi telecom (Known as Trium in Europe) produced 3 for NTTDoCoMo.
I know this because I am Japanese (although living in UK at the moment).
Also, if you want to see Nokia phone released in Japan, go to
