i use www.amazon.co.uk who are cheaper than www.dabs.com/uk and www.gameplay.co.uk for the memory stick pro duo. amazon is £6 more expensive than www.lik-sang.com who ship from Hong Kong. amazon.co.uk ship from within the UK and i use them most of the time.

I've bought blank cdrs/dvdrs from them quite a few times and never had any problems.

Emartbuy has 1gb for £67.80 including P&P and there in stock.

http://www.emartbuy.com/uk/ca[....]scl/itemDetail.aspx?itemId=462

The previous link is Neodisks and the cost for one is £58.69 + £2.50 P&P. Total = £61.19

hi,

should i opt for the normal 1gb sandisk memory stick pro duo or their gaming version?

what have most people got; normal or gaming?

the above price seems very good for a UK company

thanks,

Posted by mak_attack
emartbuy is £65.80 + £2 = £67.80 inc vat and p&p

---

normal or gaming - which one ?

thanks,

Posted by mak_attack
neo discs are out of stock.

i found ww.picstop.co.uk who do:

SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo - 1GB for £67.50

SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo Gaming Memory - 1GB for £68.70

p&p is £1.90

is there anyone cheaper?

which is the better card?

thanks,

Hi guys

what's the maximum memory card pro duo can we use on these phone ?

I got both the K750i and W00i handset.

some says 2 gig , some says up to 4 gig

any idea ?

Posted by ianwinter
SE site says 2gb.

Posted by funkyfrog
It is 2GB.

Can't understand why you want to pay stupid amounts for your memory cards. I just bought one for £32.50 off ebay including postage and it was here in a week.

you will be hard pushed to find a 4gb one anyway but i think its 2gb

@mat_attack - i paid £62 for a sandisk gaming yellow 1gb mem stick pro duo on ebay and its fine, came from america took about 5 days

Posted by BONDIE_86
nope, no tax and yes its including p+p and insurence, i will find it for you now miss

leigh

ps @dgl - this guy has better feedback than that guy there

Posted by dgilmartin
I Spose leigh, but he does sell over 5,000 items a month, I'd buy off him anyway

Posted by BONDIE_86
this guy is by far the best for 1gb sandisks, miss... you really should consider sandisk... i really wish i had the info for you on how much better quality the sandisk are over the sony... you pay for the four letter word on the sony ones but on the sandisk your paying for quality and performance

leigh

Posted by BONDIE_86
eye... i considered him but when i bought mine he had a lower percentage but now there the same but fastmemoryman has sold alot more, but i can only speak from experience and saving_store is a good shop.

There you go same price.

Stupid question: the last memorystck you were referring to (MS DUO PRO) is compatible with k750? How about V800 ?

I still don't understand the difference between DUO and PRO and DUO PRO (stupid me...).

Thanks !

That's quite unexpensive for a European price !

I guess I'll order one from them, unless I find cheaper sticks from the US (via Ebay as well, you can get one including shipping for less than 50 Euros...)

Posted by Tigerblade
Yeah theyll work in v800, got one in my z800

Posted by jcwhite_uk
Duo;s are restricted to 128mb but Duo Pro's can go upto 4 gb at the minute.
The V800 will take any duo pro.

You overlooked the required postal insurance! I have yet to see a 1GB Duo Pro for under £50 on eBay!

Posted by dts-phile
k750 also takes DUO PRO or just DUO ? V800 states DUO PRO (with logo) on the borders, k750 only says DUO.

2 and 4 Go are supported by both phones ?

And how about "Magic gate" and "High Speed": are they k750/W800/V800 compatible

Thanks again all!

One from Honk Kong (Sandisk 1 Go but not original package) just ended. Eveything included, it amounted to 54 Pounds... so about 60 Euros.

Nope didn't see that. Still reasonably cheap tho...

Posted by schneil
hmmm...

I really hate that when they charge silly prices for delivery - I mean how much does a memory stick weigh?

Posted by jcwhite_uk
If it is sent within the uk it would cost no kore than £2.50 special delivery insured. With packing costs its about £3.

Posted by Tigerblade
It's obviously a sneaky way to make more money, still cheaper than the shops tho...

I agree that charging £15.50ish to deliver a literally weightless bit of plastic takes the piss

it doesnt mate... it makes the final value fee cheaper for the seller which means he/she wont have to add as much handling costs onto the the starting bid/bin price

obviously not a seller on ebay. leigh

I found a 4GB memory stick, MISCO. This mail order magazine I get through the post.

Costs £620, so I decided not to buy one.

That's ridiculous. Am I right in assuming that only Sony produce them? The sooner Sandisk start making larger memory cards in duo format the better.

Posted by BONDIE_86
@tigerblade - no... sorry, just i thought everyone was saying that p+p is ridiculas but when you take in to consideration that if the seller lowers the p+p hes going to up the buy now/start price dont you guys think?

sandisk do make a 2gb one (not a 4gb though i dont think)... you know how the gaming ones are transparent well its a transparent blue one
