figured i'd start the official thread for the new release instead of polluting the rumor thread.

here's a nice youtube video i found that takes a really good look at the camera capability.
it seems many have been upset about the interface of the app, but clearly, once you've gotten used to it, you can produce some fantastic photos and video.

I hope the 24mm lens can go as close focusing distance at 4 cm because it was not stated anywhere.
Also wishes for UFS 4.0. But looking at the benchmark score from the review, likely not..

I've seen a few reviews quoting the 4cm macro feature. GSMA has some good close up pics.

Any idea about pwm sensitivity previous ones were pretty capable |

the macro shots look incredible. i would get a lot of use out of that feature tbh, but that screen downgrade really hurts.

It's using dc dimming only uses pwm after certain brightness |

that was just tripod. Not that screen connected to phone to use rear cam as selfie. For example mark 3 cannot use it, just pro-i/mark4/mark5 |

I think this was cancelled cause xperiaus pages were active till end of march so probably a last minute decision to pull out of US market |
